Exclusive Services

Responding to needs in the community, we are constantly updating our services.  Please see our current offer but if you require anything else, please let us know.

Stage 1 - Initial consultation

Our tutor will come to your home to meet both the student and a parent.  They will look at the learning space in the home, determine the needs of the student through open and honest discussion, and devise a plan to move forward.  After this consultation, the tutor will share this plan with the family and all parties can decide if they wish to progress to the next stage.

Stage 2 - 4 week programme

Over a 4 week period, the tutor will work through the agreed plan, delivering key study skills tips, and setting and reviewing targets for the student through a virtual weekly meeting lasting 45 minutes.  At the end of the meeting, the tutor will produce a report for parents, reviewing progress and detailing expectations for the forthcoming week.  On week 4 of this process, the tutor will meet vitually with both the student and parent to review outcomes.  At this point the objective may have been reached and the programme ends or both parties may wish to proceed for a further 4 weeks.

Subject specific tutoring

In addition to our bespoke programme focused on study skills, we do also offer subject specific tutoring with a team of tutors working in schools in your area.  If you have a specific need, please contact us and we will find the perfect solution for you.

Careers advice

Set up a one to one meeting with a careers advisor based in your community with an understanding of pathways open to both year 11 and year 13 students.  Our advisors are fully familiar with the UCAS process and can help year 13  students navigate the process and make informed decisions.  For those students who do not wish to go to university, they are aware of apprenticeship opportunities open to students.  They are also fully aware of the local offer for year 11 students and can help with the transition to Key Stage 5.
